Terms & Conditions for Brand Beacon Digital
These Terms & Conditions ("T&C") govern your use of Brand Beacon Digital services, including the digital marketing courses and resources provided through our website (brandbeacondigital.com) and associated platforms. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these T&C. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services.
1. Examination Fees
First Attempt: The fee for your first exam attempt is included in the course fee for all enrolled learners.
Re-sit Fee: If you do not pass the initial exam attempt, a re-sit fee will apply.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 18 years old to take the exam.
Valid ID: To be admitted to the online exam, candidates must present a valid government-issued ID with a photograph and signature.
2. Cooling Off Period
14-Day Cancellation: You have the right to cancel your course purchase within 14 days of the initial purchase for a full refund. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Post 14 Days: No refunds will be issued after the 14-day cooling off period.
3. Payment Terms
Access to Course Material: Full access to course material is granted upon receipt of the initial payment for enrolled members.
Subscription Holders: If you purchase a subscription, you agree to pay the monthly, annual, or course fees specified at the time of registration. Failure to pay may result in service suspension.
Currency and Fees: All payments will be processed in USD, and any transaction fees, foreign exchange fees, or additional charges due to geographic location or payment provider will be your responsibility.
Payment Processor: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Your payment details will be securely stored with Stripe for recurring payments.
4. Termination
Failed Payment: If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method three more times. After four failed attempts, your subscription will be canceled, and you will lose access to our services.
Access Revocation: Failure to meet payment deadlines will result in removal from the course and revocation of access to course materials and the learning management system. All fees paid are non-refundable.
5. Start Date
Early Access: You will be granted early access to the course material once payment is made.
Official Start Date: The official start date of your course is the first day of the month following the payment date. For example, if payment is made on April 15, the official start date is May 1.
6. Invoice Validity
14-Day Validity: Any invoice issued by Brand Beacon Digital is valid for a period of 14 days. We reserve the right to withdraw the invoice within this period if necessary.
7. Deferrals & Leave of Absence
Deferral: If you wish to defer your course start date due to extenuating circumstances, you may request a deferral for up to 3 months. Deferrals are at the discretion of Brand Beacon Digital and are only available if all payments are up-to-date.
Leave of Absence: You may request a leave of absence for up to 3 months due to personal reasons. The request will be reviewed, and eligibility depends on up-to-date payments.
8. Dual Certification Eligibility
Dual Certification: Certain courses may offer dual certification. Eligibility for dual certification depends on the program you are enrolled in and may be limited to specific countries or regions. Additional details will be provided at the time of enrollment.
9. Sharing of Personal Information
Third Parties: Brand Beacon Digital may share personal information with third-party partners for program delivery, certification, or other educational purposes, including, but not limited to, certification bodies, educational partners, and exam providers. All shared information will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
10. Refusal of Service
Right to Refuse Service: Brand Beacon Digital reserves the right to refuse services or cancel enrollment for any reason, including failure to comply with our policies or any illegal activity conducted by the user.
11. Dispute Resolution
ODR Website: In the event of a dispute, customers may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to attempt an out-of-court settlement: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home.chooseLanguage.
12. Limitation of Liability
Limitation: Brand Beacon Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. We are not responsible for any lost data, loss of business, or other damages that may occur as a result of using our services.
13. Amendments
Changes to Terms: Brand Beacon Digital reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of [Country/Region], and any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts in that region.
